Introduction
Bayco® support wire was developed specially for applications in fruit and wine growing and greenhouse constructions.
Bayco® is high tensile polyamide monofilament wire which offers many advantages over normal wire:
- It is approximately 7 times lighter than steel wire, so is much easier to handle and use
- 2 or 3 rows can be tightened in one step, which saves time and manpower (especially on steep slopes)
- No friction, hot spot or rust damage occurs, because of the permanently smooth plastic surface
- Pesticides and fertilisers do not affect it
- It is UV and weather stabilised to retain high tensile strength and elongation elastics for many years
- Once secured tight, it will remain without special maintenance. Even high temperatures during summer will not affect it
- The load capacity is above average
