The Company
Hy-Tex (UK) Limited is an established, family run, business, specialising in fabrics for civil engineering, landscaping and horticulture.
We have developed a reputation for offering unrivalled quality, value and service, and the award of ISO 9001 quality assurance reflects this commitment to customers.
Products
Hy-Tex supply a comprehensive range of natural fibre, and synthetic, materials to satisfy diverse project demands. Our portfolio of products can be divided into six sections, which are summarised below:
Wildlife
A range of products, including the highly regarded ACO Wildlife system, designed to protect to our native amphibians, reptiles and small mammals from the hazards of roads crossing their migratory routes and urban developments encroaching on their habitats.
Specialist
Specialist landscaping and groundworks products including meshes and tiles that preserve areas used for grass car parks footpaths and disabled access by discreetly reinforcing and improving wear resistance. Also a lawn edging kerb.
Biodegradables
A diverse range of natural fibre meshes, blankets and substrates which provide environmental friendly solutions for erosion control and the restoration of vegetation.
Also our unique, award winning, Sedimat™ matting, which protects aquatic habitats by trapping sediment disturbed during in-stream construction activities.
Geotextiles
A range of synthetic fabrics, meshes and grids for groundwork applications to provide filtration, separation and/or reinforcement. As well as long term erosion protection.
Also specialist technical fabrics for root barriers and our newly launched Terrastop Premium™ silt fence.
Agrotextiles
A comprehensive range of woven and knitted fabrics, nets and meshes for landscaping, horticultural and agricultural applications.
Popular products include our highly regarded Covertex™ ground cover, which provides long term weed control and reduced maintenance.
Accessories
A selection of related products including assorted fabric fixings.
